Milen Care is equipped to offer a wide range of services for older people. All our services are tailored to the individual's needs and provided in a dignified manner.

In accordance with cultural and religious sensitivities we provide separate day care provisions for both male and female (Monday's and Tuesday's for women and Wednesday's and Thursday's for men).

All our services are underpinned with our principles which are: privacy, dignity, user participation, choice, religious and cultural sensitivity.

Our day care services are hugely popular and widely appreciated for the variety of services and activities we offer.

Outreach Support Service

Aim of service

At Milen Care we're all about changing society for the better, so that older people and their families can have the same opportunities as everyone else.

Milen Care offers free support service for Asian elders aged 55 and over. The aim of the service is to improve their quality of lives by empowering them to lead an active and fulfilling life, reduce social isolation and hospital admissions.

This service is free and currently for older people living in the Batley area.

 

How we can help?

  • Confidential service provided by qualified and professional staff.
  • Support after discharge from hospital.
  • Provide advice, information and support to avoid unnecessary hospital and residential care admissions.
  • Support with Health and well being.
  • Enable older people to live safely and independently
  • their own home for as long as possible.
  • Help completing forms / application.
  • Make referrals to other care service providers.
